Set on 12 rolling acres in the Lower Connecticut River Valley in the Town of East Haddam in a place called ValleyBrook. The Old Sindelar Farm is a small family owned organic farm. The house that you see in the photos was built in 1991. One section of our old house was built around the turn of the century, then added on again and again. The back porch was ripped off in the massive hurricane of 1938. We decided that since the old farmhouse was just too old and hard to heat we sent her to Heaven and built a new house, a duplex.

In 2015 after careful thought I went with short term guest stays as opposed to monthly rental. We rent out 'Annies Place' by the night, weekend or the week. We can accommodate six guests in three bedrooms. The house is fully funished and very cozy. And don't forget the animals! Miss Red Clover and Mr. Coffee Bean our cows, Miss Macon Bacon and The Hambone our resident swine, Annie the turkey, Bandit the Husky and the chickens.
